2008 Entrepreneur of the Month
Nomination Form

Nominations are accepted on an on-going basis for "Entrepreneur of the Month" award recipients to be honored by the Chamber and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Beginning in 2008, monthly winners will be encouraged to apply for the "Entrepreneur of the Year" award to be presented during the Chamber's Annual Dinner each January. Review the Guidelines below and submit the Nomination Form from the link above now!


Qualifications for applicants are as follows:

  • Entrepreneur must be a member in good standing of the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce and must have been a member of the Chamber for a minimum of 12 months.

  • Entrepreneur's company must be a manufacturing, retail or service business with no more than
    25 full time employees. (Note: Two part time = 1 full time.)

  • Criteria to be reviewed about each applicant should include, but not be limited to:

  • How long entrepreneur has been in business.

  • Entrepreneur or Company involvement in the community and Chamber.

  • Awards/Recognitions received by the entrepreneur or company.


    • Nominations for the monthly winner will be due by Noon on the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
    • On the 4th Thursday of the month, an ad will run in The AJC Northwest Edition that announces the monthly winner and tells about the entrepreneur.
    • On the 1st Thursday of the month, the winner will be recognized during Good Morning Cherokee, the Chamber's monthly membership breakfast, and presented a framed copy of the AJC ad, along with a plaque.
