More Information On: Operation Thank You

The Chamber, in partnership with the Development Authority of Cherokee County, coordinates the Annual "Operation Thank You" in celebration of April's Manufacturing Appreciation Week.

All Cherokee County industries and their employees are acknowledged for their contribution to the county's employee base and economic viability. Teams, comprised of Chamber and DACC officials, canvass the county saying 'thank you' to local industry. Event sponsor, Georgia Power Company, joins with the two organizations in thanking the over 4,800 industry employees for a job well done!

In 2008, Operation Thank You volunteers delivered animal crackers to more than 4,800 industrial employees. This year’s theme was It’s a Jungle Out There...and Good Employees are Hard to Find. Thanks for working in Cherokee County!
